The bed was incredibly comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud. The shower was spacious and refreshing, providing a great start to the day. The apartment was immaculately clean and had a cozy, homely atmosphere. Although natural lighting could have been better, the artificial lighting was good. Moira, the host, was warm and friendly during check-in. The location was ideal, situated at the entrance of town, offering a peaceful and quiet setting. Even though I fell ill, the apartment had a large TV with DSTV to keep me entertained, and the electric blanket kept me snug and warm. The convenience of being located next to the winetram and close to the town center was a major plus for exploring the area. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. The room itself was spacious and well-equipped, with a kitchen that had everything I needed to prepare light meals. I appreciated the comfortable bed and the nice garden, complete with a splash pool. Being within walking distance of the wine tram, grocery store, and restaurants was extremely convenient. The layout of the accommodation was perfect for my family of four, with functional and comfortable amenities. The outdoor area with the pool and braai added to the enjoyment of our stay, especially since we had exclusive access for the weekend. The location was also great in terms of proximity to the town, shops, and restaurants. my stay at this accommodation was superb, with everything I needed for a pleasant and enjoyable visit.

The balcony with its awning is a real gem. It's like having your own little oasis where you can unwind and enjoy the warm summer days, just like a private rooftop lounge. The fully equipped kitchen in each suite adds an extra level of convenience. It's like having your own personal chef's station, ready to whip up any culinary masterpiece you desire. The enclosed private garden with a plunge pool and barbecue facilities is a delightful retreat. It's like having your own mini resort, complete with a refreshing pool and a grill for those outdoor cookouts. The location of the hotel is excellent for exploring the local area. It's like having a home base that puts you right in the heart of all the amazing attractions and activities Franschhoek has to offer. The thoughtfully decorated rooms make you feel like you're staying in a cozy home away from home. It's like having a stylish retreat where comfort is the top priority.

We had a fantastic time exploring Franschhoek from Laurel Cottage. Our group of 6 had plenty of space in the three rooms, and we loved the cozy living room area. Despite the rainy weather, the location was perfect for exploring the main street and Wine Tram. The staff were so helpful, and the spacious rooms and excellent bathrooms were a delight. Parking was easy too. Highly recommend!
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

The suites at Laurel Cottage are absolutely incredible! They have everything you need, from a fully equipped kitchen to a cozy lounge area with a flat-screen TV. The circular window offers unique views of the charming town. Each room is well-appointed, with a desk, a terrace overlooking the beautiful garden, a private bathroom, and a flat-screen TV. The bed linen and towels are also provided, making it a comfortable stay. Some rooms even come with a kitchen featuring an oven and stovetop, perfect for those who prefer to cook their own meals. Plus, all units have a microwave, kettle, shower, and desk. As a business traveler, I really appreciate that the rooms are air-conditioned and come with a desk, allowing me to work comfortably. The modern bathroom is spacious and features a large shower as well as a skylight, adding a touch of luxury to the experience. One of the best parts is that the three self-catering suites also share an outdoor barbecue area. It's perfect for enjoying a delicious meal while soaking in the lovely surroundings.
Personally, the only thing I didn't particularly enjoy was the circular window. It felt a bit unusual to me, but I understand that others may find it interesting and enjoyable.

Being a senior, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel, with easily accessible ramps, spacious corridors, and handrails in the bathrooms.
I would have loved to see more assistance and attention from the staff, especially for senior guests.

The unit was clean and the location was convenient for exploring the town. We were provided with towels and bedding, which was a nice touch. The pool was also a great bonus on a hot day.
Our stay was not as enjoyable as we had hoped. The noise from the nearby road made it difficult to sleep at night.

The rooms are well-kitted out with functional and comfortable features, ensuring a relaxing stay for all. the outdoor area is perfect for unwinding with a dip in the pool or firing up the braai for a family feast.
While some equipment in the kitchen could be improved, everything else about the accommodation is excellent and sure to delight visitors.

This place is the perfect base for exploring the town. The kitchen was fitted with all the necessary equipment which made our stay comfortable. The outdoor space was an added bonus, complete with a lovely pool and braai.
The noise from the street was quite loud, disrupting our peace and quiet. the kitchen was not adequately stocked with crockery and cutlery, which meant more washing up than we would have preferred.
